I read in some other review that the portions were small and too expensive. This place was great! There were only two of us (myself and my young son) and I recommend going there with at least four people as I left with over half of the food I ordered because they served good portions of the tasty delights. This dish would have been better with a meat entree rather than accompanying the vegetarian dishes I ordered, I think. Flavors of clove and other spices emerged as you ate. as was the Aloo Saag (spinach and potatoes in a milk sauce). Wow!! just super!!! We also tried a traditional lentil soup which really hit the spot.įor dinner, we had the Malai Kafta Curry (a pink vegetable ball in a creamy curry sauce). It was made with zucchini in a lentil batter. Another appetizer (forgot the name) was so fantastic I could have eaten it all night. The sauces were light and good for this snack. The Samosas, I felt, were a little too crispy and could have used more spice in the potato, but my son liked them better than some very good ones we had a couple of nights before. The Mango Lasi (a yogurt and mango drink) was, of course, yummy and delicious. We are vegetarian so only sampled some of the vegetarian appetizers and main dishes. The flavors are light and spices burst forth as you eat individual dishes. Romantic, Delicious, and Friendly – This restaurant is far off the strip, on the west side of Las Vegas, but easy to find if you drive to the Sahara Casino and then head west on Sahara Avenue.
